Chief UAV Pilot - Loveland, CO Corporate Office, or Remote US

What you will do:
Develop [Company] Ag Solutions United States Drone program through collaboration with Operations to determine applicability and uses in the field.
Responsible for all Drones, drone pilots, programs, and training for the United States
Source UAVs in compliance with Cyber Security, logistic, delivery, and proper documentation.
Registration of all drones, collaboration with insurance department and legal department. The Chief Pilot is the authorized representative to register all large, unmanned aircrafts.
Act as the authorized primary pilot, ground crew training qualification representative and aviation technical advisor.
Develop, implement, and manage the training program, including in person training and refresher training.
Conduct initial and refresher pilot and ground crew flight and mission training.
Administer final qualification checks and will oversee continuation training for all personnel that have completed initial institutional UAS instruction and conduct random checks of those personnel already qualified to ensure proper standardization, crew resource management and safe practices are maintained.
Recommend and provide for the qualification of all training pilots and will build, monitor, and maintain all pilot jackets for [Company] Solutions.
Monitor/Maintain flight crew records, flight time limitations, flight operations, and qualifications set forth by the FAA in compliance with applicable Law and safe operations.
Certify training pilots to train field pilots on flight operations for Part 137 operations.
Develop process for flight plan review 48 hours prior to flight.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Ability to travel 50% of time.

Ability to concurrently deal with multiple projects and meet deadlines.
Experience in developing, writing or maintaining programsand systems.
Experience in training delivery and development.
Ablility to organize and maintain registrations, insurance, certifications, training records, medical requirements, and flight plan documentation.
Ability to forge the right relationships with employees, regulatory officials, and company.
Will be FAA licensed who possesses at least a Remote Pilot Certificate and a Class II medical certificate.
Have accumulated and logged at least 40 hours of total flight time of a multi-rotor system as the PIC with at least 20 take-off and landings within the previous 90 days to remain current. Such log of which shall be made available to the Administrator upon request.
For initial qualification, the Chief Pilot must have successfully completed the indoctrination curriculum, company ground training, written or oral knowledge test, held a part 107 license for 1095 days, and the flight evaluation.
For recurrent qualification, the Chief Pilot need only complete the Standardization Evaluation (knowledge test (written or Oral) and the flight evaluation).
Compensation & Benefits:
Salary Range $120,000 - $165,000 . This range is estimated for Chief UAV Pilot in Colorado. Actual salary and benefits may differ based upon location.
