Capital Air Express is a growing Part 135 charter operator providing reliable, efficient private air travel across the Southeast. We are currently seeking qualified pilots to join our charter team.
The Pilot in Command (PIC) / Second in Command (SIC) will be responsible for conducting Part 135 charter operations in accordance with FAA regulations and company procedures. This role requires sound aeronautical decision-making, strong CRM skills, and a customer-focused mindset.
Capital Air Express Company Minimums:
1,200 total flight time
500 hours cross-country
100 hours retractable-gear time
100 hours night
100 hours IMC (simulated and actual; actual preferred)
These requirements are firm.
Commercial Pilot Certificate with Instrument Rating
Must meet all applicable 14 CFR Part 135 requirements for the position
Current FAA Medical Certificate (Class I or II as appropriate)
Valid U.S. passport
Must be authorized to work in the United States
Clean FAA and driving record
Ability to pass FAA-required drug and alcohol testing
Strong professionalism, reliability, and attention to detail
Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays as required by charter demand
Ability to relocate within driving distance to our headquarters in Peachtree City, GA.
Previous Part 135 experience
Multi-engine time
Time in Piper aircraft (Saratoga, Malibu, or similar)
Experience operating in busy terminal and non-towered environments
Pilots are full time W-2 Employees who fly approximately 40 hrs per week and are benefits eligible
