Job overview and responsibilities:
This position assists and supports the Inflight Regional Training Manager in the supervision of the training location responsible for training new hire and line flight attendants. The position will lead and advise a team of Instructor/Evaluator Specialists providing leadership, mentor and support as they deliver training for new hire and line flight attendants. This position will supervise daily operational requirements, M&A staff, company business staff, students and vendors to ensure a successful seven-day a week operation. This position ensures delivery of training programs aligns with federal regulations and company policies/standards.
Lead Inflight AQP, IOTM and Customer Service Training operations
Manage Instructor/Evaluators Specialists and CoBus staffing and performance
Run flight attendant student experience, including meals, accommodations and transportation, as applicable
Serve as liaison with Training Device Maintenance Team and vendor management
Lead Training-related employee engagement events
Required to be available to support the 24/7 operation, including holidays and weekends
Support other Inflight Service initiatives, as requested
Minimum Qualifications:
Required to attend and successfully complete United's flight attendant training to earn FAA certification if not currently qualified. Obtaining and maintaining flight qualifications is an essential function of the job. Failure to obtain and maintain flight qualifications may result in termination
Willingness to align with flight attendant tattoo guidelines. Tattoos are not permitted on the head, neck, or hands, including behind the ear
Bachelor's Degree or 4 years of relevant work experience
At least 3 years in a management role
At least 3 years directly supervising others
Highly proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Windows, PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Outlook and Teams)
Excellent Crew Resource Management and Emotional Intelligence skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Experience presenting in front of large groups
Able to work both independently and in a team environment
Dedication to Working Together Guidelines and treat each other with dignity and respect
Planning and organizing

Ability to lead multiple projects simultaneously
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship
Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualifications
Reliable, punctual attendance in a crucial function of the position
Preferred Qualifications:
Master's degree
At least 1-year prior experience in Infight training preferred
Human Resources experience
Flight Qualified
SHRM/PHR Certification
The base pay range for this role is $79,800.00 to $108,790.00.
The base salary range/hourly rate listed is dependent on job-related, non-discriminatory factors such as experience, education, and skills. This position is also eligible for bonus and/or long-term incentive compensation awards.
