Job Summary:
As a Pilatus PC-12 Captain, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the aircraft during FAR Part 91 and Part 135 flights. This includes flight planning, pre-flight checks, and ensuring all regulatory and safety standards are met. You will be expected to maintain a high level of professionalism and customer service while working closely with the flight operations team and passengers.
Key Responsibilities:
Command Pilatus PC-12 aircraft in FAR Part 91 and 135 operations.
Conduct pre-flight planning, including route analysis, weather assessment, and fuel planning.
Perform all required pre-flight and post-flight inspections of the aircraft.
Ensure compliance with all applicable FAA regulations, company policies, and operational procedures.
Provide excellent customer service and represent the company professionally with all clients and passengers.
Coordinate with ground personnel, dispatch, and other crew members to ensure the timely execution of flight operations.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of FAA regulations, aircraft systems, and company procedures.
Handle any in-flight issues calmly and effectively to ensure passenger safety and comfort.
Complete all necessary flight paperwork and logs as required by the company and FAA.
Requirements:
FAA Commercial Pilot Certificate with an Instrument Rating (ATP preferred).
Minimum of 2,500 total flight hours, with at least 1,000 hours as PIC.
Minimum of 500 hours in turbine aircraft; PC-12 experience highly preferred.
Knowledge and experience in FAR Part 91 and Part 135 operations.
Current FAA First Class or Second Class Medical Certificate.
Strong knowledge of aviation safety practices and FAA regulations.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as operational needs dictate.
Must be able to pass background checks and drug testing requirements.
