Flight Operations Coordinator
Job Summary
[Company] is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Flight Operations Coordinator. The ideal candidate will develop a thorough understanding of the passenger’s travel purpose and expectations of the itinerary, services, and flight experience. They will provide crew members with a comprehensive flight release that outlines clear instructions, leading to the efficient, safe, and effective coordination of flight activities pursuant to the passenger’s expectations. This role involves the strategic use of the company’s resources, tools, and training to ensure fiscally responsible arrangements.
Requirements & Experience
College Degree / Previous aviation-specific work experience.
Positive and driven attitude.
Must be able to communicate effectively both written and verbal.
Excellent computer skills (Word, Outlook, Excel, etc.)
Must be detail-oriented and highly organized.
Ability to multi-task without losing focus.
Responsibilities
Coordinate customer requests, including but not limited to catering, ground transportation, flight following.
Effectively plan and release aircraft crews ensuring all trip details are covered: best fuel pricing, international and customs arrangements, airport and facilities suitable for arrival.
Guarantee that each flight can be safely conducted and that all activities follow FAA and company operations specifications.
Coordinate, schedule, and plan all flights to allow the efficient use of the aircraft and minimize the number of repositioning flights. Heavy telephone interface with clients and industry contacts.
Maintain existing customer relationships.
Keep confidential all company and client information.
Participate in on-call and weekend rotation.
Position Details
Schedule: Full-time, M-F with after-hours/weekend on-call rotations.
Must be willing to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
This position can be remote and does not require an in-office presence.
