Position: Lear 55 Captain
Location: Home Based, USA
Position Objective:
To provide the safe conduct of all flights to which he/she is assigned. When assigned to the role of PIC/Captain, the individual has the final authority in the operation of the aircraft and ensures compliance with all Federal, state, local or foreign regulations. PIC/Captain is authorized to deviate from the flight itinerary (in the interest of safety, weather, other flight conditions, or passenger comfort), which may include any of the following: departure delay, flight cancelation, changes to route and/or destination airport.
The PIC/Captain demonstrates through actions, personal and crew compliance with policies, procedures, standards and regulations from OAM, FAA and ICAO, and maintains a positive interpersonal style in all interactions with peers, customers and support personnel.
Qualifications/Experience
1 year experience performing the role of Captain with an FAR Part 91 or 135 operator;
2 years recent (within last 5 years) experience as a jet aircraft pilot, transporting passengers to both domestic and international locations;
Must be currently qualified as a PIC in a multi-engine business jet aircraft and possess the following hours of experience:
3,000 hours total flying time
1,000 hours turbo-jet aircraft flying time
1,500 hours PIC time, 500 hours of which is in a turbo aircraft
Documentation
Current FAA Airline Transport Pilot Certificate with multi-engine rating and at least one type rating in a business jet aircraft;
FAA First-Class Medical Certificate
Current U.S. Passport and a valid Drivers License
