About the Opportunity
We’re looking for an experienced and dedicated Captain to join our flight department based in Fort Worth, Texas. This role is ideal for a pilot who values professionalism, precision, and takes pride in delivering a seamless, safe, and exceptional travel experience every time the wheels leave the ground.
Primary Responsibilities
Serve as Pilot in Command (PIC) for assigned flights, ensuring the highest standards of safety, compliance, and efficiency.
Conduct and oversee all aspects of flight preparation, including route planning, weather and NOTAM review, fueling, loading, and weight & balance.
Perform thorough preflight and postflight inspections to ensure aircraft readiness and airworthiness.
Maintain expert knowledge of aircraft systems, emergency procedures, and company SOPs.
Lead and coordinate with the flight crew and ground support personnel to ensure seamless, professional operations.
Exercise sound decision-making in all phases of flight, including delaying or canceling missions when safety dictates.
Manage passenger comfort and discretion, providing a professional and service oriented experience throughout every mission.
Complete all required documentation accurately and promptly, including flight logs, maintenance write-ups, and company records.
Ensure compliance with FAA regulations, company policies, and industry best practices.
Communicate effectively with the Director of Maintenance regarding aircraft discrepancies and required maintenance actions.
Foster a culture of safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement across the flight department.
Mentor and support the Second in Command, promoting strong CRM and professional development.
Represent the company with professionalism, integrity, and discretion at all times.
Ensure proper post-flight servicing, securing, and coordination for maintenance or ground handling as needed.
Qualifications
FAA Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certificate
Current First-Class Medical.
Minimum 3,000 total flight hours, including 1,500 PIC and 250 in type preferred.
Preference for candidates typed in the G280 (type training may be provided for the right individual).
Prior Part 91 and/or Part 135 experience required.
Must live in or be willing to relocate to the Dallas–Fort Worth area.
Clean FAA and driving record.
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including select weekends and holidays.
