This position is expected to be a 50/50 split of Account Executive and Pilot activities.
As an Account Executive, your primary responsibility is to drive sales growth by identifying new business, nurturing customer relationships, and delivering tailored solutions in wire harness manufacturing, electrical repair, warehousing, and logistic se[Company]ces.
The Corporate Pilot will be responsible for the safe conduct of flights for company employees in accordance with federal, state, and international regulations in addition to company policies. Company's current airplane inventory includes: Piper Twin Seneca (Garmin 530).
RESPONSIBILITIES AND ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE
Build and maintain relationships with existing and prospective customers, including travel to customer locations as needed.
Maintain and update customer data and sales activity in the company CRM.
Identify prospective customers through market research, networking, and outreach.
Collaborate with internal teams, including engineering, technical, and production, to develop accurate quotes, meet customer specifications, and ensure information flows effectively.
Represent the company at trade shows, including pre-show preparation and post-show follow-up with customers and exhibitors.
Report on sales pipeline activity and issues weekly and prepare periodic reports on key accounts.
Create and share executive portfolio reviews to customers and internal teams.
Provide input and support on new marketing campaigns across digital and traditional channels.
Work closely with the Sales Manager, fellow Account Executives, and other internal teams to assure client needs are met.
CORPORATE PILOT
Responsible for the safe operation and command of assigned flights for [Company], SpecSys, and Integral dx staff primarily, but not exclusively, in the Midwest region.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and foreign regulations in addition to company policies.
Conduct all phases of preflight planning, weather evaluation, post-flight duties and any decisions required for the safe-conduct of assigned flights.
Successfully complete initial and regular training or proficiency in accordance with federal regulations, insurance requirements and company policies.
Take an active role in travel coordination and scheduling, ensuring compliance with maintenance requirements and paperwork as required.
Exercise sound aeronautical decision-making and risk management to ensure passenger and asset safety.
Maintain aircrafts in a clean, organized condition and oversee maintenance scheduling of aircrafts.
Must accept flexible work schedules including occasional overnights and weekends.
Maintain compliance with FAA medical certification, training, and proficiency requirements including recurrent training as required.
Work on assigned departmental needs on non-flying days.
JOB REQUIREMENTS AND STANDARDS:
ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE
Strong ability to interpret technical and business documents, and to write clear, professional correspondence
Comfortable presenting to groups and delivering persuasive sales presentations
Proficient in creating and analyzing basic reports
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project)
Technologically proficient with smart devices and CRM platforms
Comfortable working closely with senior leadership and technical teams
Willingness to travel 25-50% of the time
Valid driver's license with a good driving record
CORPORATE PILOT
Minimum 500 hours' total time required. This position can expect 250-350 hours of flight time per year.
Twin IFR rating
Ability to fly into all ranges of airports and airspace
Comfort on the radios in Class B is a must
Twin engine, retractable gear, and high-performance flight time experience
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
High School Diploma or general education degree (GED)
Bachelor's Degree
2+ years of experience in B2B sales, preferably in manufacturing or industrial sales
500 hours total flight time required
OR Any combination of education and experience that would provide the required skill and knowledge for successful performance would be acceptable.
