DFW area Aircraft Charter and Management company is looking for a full time Scheduler/Flight Coordinator. The successful candidate will be able to facilitate and support all facets of private aircraft charter sales and dispatch as well as having a comprehensive knowledge of the aviation industry. This position calls for extensive interaction with customers, owners and vendors as well as be able to work independently as part of a team.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Customer Service. Provide all customers prompt trip quoting and all needed service arrangements including ground transportation, catering, lodging etc. Create flight itineraries and maintain communication throughout each trip. When able, personally greet flights to ensure customer satisfaction. Share in the rotation of "On Call" duties with other Charter staff. Effectively communicate with aircraft owners. Have complete knowledge on capabilities and amenities of each of our aircraft in the fleet.
2. Sales and Marketing. Contact regular and prospective customers to seek potential opportunities. Compile new data and other sales pertaining to customers into our database and develop and maintain relationships with industry contacts.
3. Crew/ Office Support. Work directly with flight crews to ensure that the customer's needs and requests have been accommodated. Track all flights and help the crews with on ground needs including fueling, catering, transportation, and lodging. Process and assemble all trip information (itinerary, quote, invoice, expense reports, receipts, etc.) and submit to accounting for billing.
Desired Prior Experience:
Knowledge of computerized aircraft dispatch software (preferred but not required)
Computer skills- Windows/Word/Excel/Outlook
Highly motivated, team-oriented, and safety-focused
Private aviation knowledge helpful
Prior sales/service experience highly desired
