A day in the life of a Sr. Aviation Maintenance Technician:

In the role of Sr. Aviation Maintenance Technician, you will have the opportunity to:
Maintain your personal relationship with Jesus Christ and be an effective witness for Him.
Maintain Samaritans Purse aircraft in accordance with Federal Aviation Regulations using industry best practices and adhering to ministry standards.
Perform line service duties including refueling, preflight and post flight inspections.
Clean exterior and interior of ministry aircraft as required.
Travel with aircraft as a crewmember (including to disaster response sites) and perform AMT duties associated with the mission.
Tow and secure ministry aircraft and operate aircraft ground handling and loading equipment as required.
Assist in maintaining hangar facilities to meet the highest standards of safety and appearance.
Repair and maintain aircraft ground support equipment.
All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university and ten (10) to (15) years of industry aircraft maintenance experience maintaining turbine/jet powered aircraft, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Gulfstream experience required.
Current FAA Airframe and Power Plant Certificate required.
Inspection Authorization preferred.
12 credit hours of college-level Biblical Studies (required); if not already completed, opportunity to meet and complete requirement is available upon hire.

Travel Expectations: This position requires domestic/international travel of approximately 75 days/year. Maintaining required travel documents and vaccinations for entry into foreign countries will be necessary.
