Job Title: Assistant Chief Pilot and Station Manager
Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and revise policies and procedures to enhance training quality, minimize risks, and continually improve training materials, curriculum, and testing standards.
- Conduct instructor training and FAR Part 141 standardization checks as needed.
- Perform student training and stage checks as required.
- Collaborate with the Director of Safety to maintain and promote the highest standards of safety for all personnel.
- Oversee daily station operations, including student tracking, staff management, and operational oversight.
- Ensure compliance with all FAA regulations and company policies.
- Foster a positive work environment and uphold a culture of safety, quality, and excellence.
- Act as the primary point of contact for the Treasure Coast Airport location.
- Conduct flight duties (approximately 25% of the role) as necessary.
Education, Ratings & Certificates
- FAA Commercial Pilot Certificate with Airplane SEL/MEL and Instrument Rating.
- Certified Flight Instructor (CFI), Certified Flight Instructor-Instrument (CFII), and Multi-Engine Instructor (MEI) certificates.
Experience
- MUST Meet FAR 141.36 Assistant Chief Instructor qualifications.
- Minimum of 1,500 total flight hours.
Skills and Abilities
- Demonstrated ability to pass a Part 141 Assistant Chief Instructor proficiency check (single and multi-engine).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and working knowledge of Excel.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a professional demeanor.
- Dependable, detail-oriented, and innovative.
- Able to identify and resolve problems proactively with minimal supervision.
- Adaptable to dynamic environments and company needs.
