[Company]is seeking Houston, TX, and Miami, FL-based Flight Attendants/In-Flight Crew to act as Cabin Crew on Atlas Air, Inc. charter passenger flights.
Ideal candidates should be friendly, enthusiastic individuals who will ensure guest comfort and safety on each flight. A successful candidate will possess exceptional customer service skills and will ensure that each guest has a wonderful and safe flight. As an ambassador for our Company, our Flight Attendants will be knowledgeable and gracious hosts. All candidates offered positions must successfully complete the Company/FAA-required training program. Candidates will be required to operate both domestic and international flights. Successful candidates will travel to many destinations including Africa, Europe, and the Middle East. Finally, the candidate will need to show a strong desire to maintain a positive, approachable manner and will be responsible for creating an exceptional experience for each and every guest. Prior experience as a Flight Attendant is not required.
Major Job Accountability
Flight Attendants must reliably show-up, on-time, ready to work
Flight Attendants must maintain a high degree of technical competence and the ability to perform all functions as directed and in compliance with all applicable rules and regulations
Flight Attendants will utilize all pre-flight time with assisting guests boarding the aircraft as well as conduct safety and emergency exit briefings
Flight Attendants will be expected to utilize all in-flight time interacting with guests to accomplish prescribed services and, upon the completion of any food or beverage service, will continue to devote time to providing guests with care and hospitality
Qualifications:
Must have at least a High School or General Education Development (GED) Diploma
Able to fluently read, speak, write and understand the English language
Successfully complete the In-Flight Training Program, including Initial Training and Annual Continuing Education Program
Vision corrected to 20/20
Two (2) years of customer service experience
Be willing to relocate to the Houston, TX area
Able to effectively operate all onboard emergency exits and equipment
Able to lift fifty (50) pounds from floor to above the shoulders and to push a cart weighing up to 250 pounds
Able to reach seventy inches - subject to specific airplane specification
Able to stand for extended periods with limited rest periods
Able to work rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays - subject to flight schedule
Be currently in possession of a valid Passport with the ability to travel in and out of the United States on a frequent basis
Authorized to legally work in the United States
Pass a ten (10) year background check, pre-employment drug test, and criminal history records check
Must be 21 years of age at the time of application
