Description
PIC/SIC position for a Corporate Part 91 domestic CONUS operation. Competitive Salary and Benefits, Must Reside within 2 hours of Harrisburg PA.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Reports to the Director of Aviation / Chief Pilot.
Performs all duties associated with department needs and aircraft operation in accordance with CFR Part 91 regulations to include: airworthiness, proper documentation, weight and balance, weather, performance planning, fuel planning, Pre/Post brief, proper CRM, and operation of company aircraft within the limitations of the manufacturer and FAR’s.
When assigned, directs the activities of the Second In Command, ensuring that flight crewmembers perform proper CRM and duties as expected/assigned.
Promotes and fosters a safe operating environment in accordance with FAR and aircraft performance limitations, using sound decision making.
Adheres to all company policies and procedures.
Is expected to maintain [Company]ity of company business, present a professional image and conduct in all environments including social media as a key representative of the company flight department.
Maintains and meets CFR 61.58 currency requirements on assigned company aircraft(1 year)
Maintains a 1st or 2nd Class Medical in accordance with CFR Part 67
Provides a high level of professionalism, organizational skills, and customer service to all colleagues, passengers and associates.
Works closely with and assists in all department duties as assigned by Director of Aviation / Chief Pilot.
Requirements
Education
High School Diploma or equivalent
Flight Safety Intl or CAE Trained preferred.
Type Rating in Challenger 300 and/or 604 preferred
Knowledge and Skill Requirements/Preferred
5000 hours total time preferred.
3000 hours total multi-engine fixed wing time preferred.
2000 hours total PIC fixed wing flight time is preferred.
1000 hours PIC Jet Turbine Time preferred.
Challenger 604 & Hawker 850XP type rating / experience preferred.
Business Jet / Corporate Part 91 experience preferred.
Airline Transport Pilot Certificate Preferred.
FCC Restricted Radiotelephone Operator’s Permit.
Current FAA 1st or 2nd Class Medical required.
Valid passport.
No Accidents, Incidents or Violations.
Pass a background check
Verified American Citizenship
Must be able to read, speak and write fluently in the English Language.
Live or relocate within 2 hours of Harrisburg PA
Working Conditions
Corporate Part 91 operation, varied schedule Monday to Friday per company needs with occasional weekend and Holiday travel
Physical Requirements
The position requires physical exertion such as pulling, pushing, kneeling, twisting, climbing, squatting, bending and lifting of bags and equipment.
