Job Description:
SIC operates the aircraft Gulfstream 550 in a Part 91 operation. The position will serve to insure the airworthiness and safe operation of the aircraft. Ability to upgrade to PIC in 12 months.
Key Duties/Responsibilities:
The SIC assists the PIC in the safe and efficient conduct of the flight; maintains a working knowledge of the duties and responsibilities of the Pilot-In-Command; assumes PIC duties, including control of the flight, in the event of PIC incapacitation; participates in the Safety Management System. The Second-in-Command flies the aircraft per the directions of the PIC; performs takeoffs and landings under the authority of the PIC; assumes any duties delegated by the Director of Aviation and/or PIC.
Required Qualifications:
路 Bachelor鈥檚 Degree (preferred)
路 Reside or be willing to relocate to within 2 hours of TEB
路 Holds an Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) Certificate with Multi-Engine Rating and type rated in the G450/G550 aircraft
路 Possess a First-Class FAA Medical Certificate
路 Has at minimum 2,500 hours flight time, 1,000 hours PIC, and 500 hours in jet aircraft and 500 hours minimum in a G450/G550 aircraft
路 Recent experience with North Atlantic Flight Operations including CPDLC usage for Gulfstream 550
路 International Procedures within 24-month currency
路 Valid passport with no restrictions
路 Valid driver鈥檚 license
路 No FAA violations or enforcements
路 English proficient
路 Must be able to handle job duties with discretion and sensitivity to company and client information
路 Must be service orientated with a neat well-groomed appearance
路 Strong organizational skills and advanced multi-tasking abilities
Physical Demands/Working Environment:
路 The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds over their heads
路 Must be able to work varying hours including day and night, weekday, weekends, and holidays
路 Must be able to pass a background check
