We are seeking a highly experienced, professional, and safety-focused Captain for our Gulfstream V (GV) under Part 91 operations. Key Responsibilities:
Flight Operations:
Serve as Pilot in Command (PIC) for domestic and international GV missions, ensuring safety and compliance with all applicable regulations (FAA, ICAO, etc.).
Perform flight planning, performance calculations, weight and balance, and review NOTAMs, weather, and route requirements.
Coordinate with dispatch, maintenance, and scheduling teams to execute efficient and punctual operations.
Ensure flight plans, permits, customs, handling, and international clearances are arranged and accurate.
Maintain proficiency in RVSM, NAT HLA, RNP-10/4, CPDLC, ADS-C, and other global airspace navigation requirements.
Execute and lead a crew resource management (CRM) culture on board and within the department.
Aircraft Management:
Oversee the airworthiness and readiness of the aircraft before each flight, including thorough preflight and postflight inspections.
Coordinate with Director of Maintenance (DOM) to ensure maintenance discrepancies are documented and resolved per regulatory and company standards.
Participate in cleanliness and cosmetic upkeep reviews of the aircraft's cabin, exterior, and stocked amenities.
Compliance & Administration:
Ensure full compliance with FAA Part 91 regulations, aircraft flight manual limitations, company SOPs, and international aviation rules.
Maintain accurate flight logs, duty records, and trip reports.
Participate in recurrent training, company safety meetings, and audits as scheduled.
Guest Experience:
Provide a first-class experience for owners and guests, ensuring discretion, privacy, and comfort are always maintained.
Collaborate with cabin crew and ground teams to ensure smooth transitions, catering requirements, and special requests are fulfilled.
Minimum Qualifications:
FAA ATP Certificate with Multi-Engine Land rating.
Gulfstream V Type Rating with significant recent experience (Current within last 12 months ).
Current FAA First-Class Medical Certificate.
Valid U.S. Passport with no travel restrictions.
Total Time: 5,000+ hours
PIC: 5,000+ hours
Multi-Engine PIC: 2,000+ hours
Jet Time: 2,000+ hours
Gulfstream V (or GV series): 1000+ hours (preferred)
Preferred Experience & Attributes:
Prior Part 91 international flight operations including North Atlantic Tracks (NAT), Europe, Middle East, Asia-Pacific, and South America.
Strong understanding of international trip planning, permits, and customs processes.
Demonstrated experience operating in high-density airspace and challenging operational environments.
Excellent CRM, communication, and decision-making skills.
Proficient in flight planning software (e.g., ForeFlight, ARINC, Satcom Direct, Jeppesen, etc.).
Technologically savvy with FMS, avionics, and EFB tools.
Able to travel with short notice and maintain a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays as needed.
