We are a private, family-owned and operated flight department seeking an experienced, professional, and discreet pilot to operate our new Pilatus PC-24 under Part 91. This is a long-term position supporting domestic and international travel for a single ownership group. You'll be joining a small, tight-knit operation where professionalism, safety, and a service mindset matter as much as stick-and-rudder skill.
This is first and foremost a PC-24 role, and we are looking for a pilot who is current and genuinely experienced in the aircraft — not someone who will learn it on the job. In addition to flying the PC-24, the selected pilot will be trained and type-rated on our Gulfstream G650 at our expense, and will serve as a crew member on that aircraft as the operation requires. In short: bring us your PC-24 expertise, and we'll invest in your G650 qualification.
Serve as pilot for the safe, efficient, and compliant operation of the PC-24 under FAR Part 91
Once type-rated, operate the G650 / G650ER as a crew member on domestic and international trips
Conduct thorough flight planning, including international, oceanic, and long-range operations
Coordinate trip logistics — scheduling, catering, ground handling, customs, international permits, and overflight requirements
Help track aircraft maintenance status in coordination with maintenance providers and any management company
Maintain currency, training, certificates, and records on both aircraft
Work collaboratively as part of a professional crew with a strong CRM culture
Deliver a high level of discretion, confidentiality, and white-glove service to the family and their guests
Keep the aircraft clean, stocked, and trip-ready between flights
All candidates:
FAA Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certificate
FAA First-Class Medical
Valid passport with the ability to travel internationally without restriction
Excellent judgment, professionalism, discretion, and interpersonal skills
Flexibility with scheduling, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and last-minute trips
Clean driving and background record; able to pass background check and drug/alcohol screening
Experience operating into performance-limited and noise-sensitive airports a plus (KSNA-based operations included)
Pilatus PC-24 (required — not sponsored):
Current PC-24 type rating, in good standing with recent recurrent training
Significant, demonstrable PC-24 experience — this is a hard requirement; we are seeking a pilot who is highly proficient and current in type, not transitioning into it
Strong single-pilot and/or two-crew PC-24 operational discipline, SOP adherence, and systems knowledge
Gulfstream G650 (we sponsor):
A G650 type rating is not required — we will fund initial type-rating training and recurrent for the right candidate
Large-cabin, oceanic, or long-range experience is a plus, but not required
This position is based in Orange County, California, and the pilot must live in the greater Orange County area. We are not hiring a commuter. We are happy to support and welcome candidates relocating from elsewhere — but relocation must be a genuine, permanent move to establish local residence near KSNA. Applicants who intend to commute in from another city, state, or region will not be considered.
