The ENG Pilot:
Not all heroes wear capes, some fly airplanes. [Company] supports a myriad of customers, but none we’re more proud to serve than our hospital customers. ENG is the premier aviation partner for Organ Transplant Centers across Texas and we’re proud to play a direct role in saving lives.
Our pilots are front and center in these efforts, enabling the surgeons to retrieve the organs and return to the transplant center in a timely manner, for the ~4,000 transplants in Texas annually. We’re not just looking for pilots who want to fly, we’re looking for pilots who want to fly with a purpose.
Pilot (Captain/PIC):
The Captain (PIC) Pilot is responsible for leading the First Officers and assisting the Chief Pilot in flight operations, training, and certification of the company's pilots and safe flight operations. Some of the specific roles and responsibilities of this position include:
Ensuring that all flight operations are conducted in accordance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
Monitoring flight operations and ensuring that all flights are conducted safely and efficiently.
Ensuring that the company's aircraft are properly maintained and that maintenance records are properly documented.
Participating in the development and implementation of company policies and procedures related to flight operations.
Responding to customer complaints and inquiries and ensuring that customer service standards are met.
Keeping up-to-date with changes in aviation regulations, industry standards, and best practices, and ensuring that the company is in compliance with all relevant regulations.
Candidates should meet the FAR 135.243 PIC qualifications. Highly competitive candidates will also have a CE-5560XL type-rating and currency.
