You have the knowledge of the CAR 604 Canadian Air regulation and experience required to take over the management of our cooperate flight department including the pilots? Act as a pilot at the command of our cooperate aircraft.
What will your day-to-day look like?
Respect of safe flying and training practices.
Conduct or assign a pilot for line indoctrination and flight checks in order to assess pilot proficiency.
Responsible for ensuring that all crewmembers perform their duties in a proper and professional manner.
Scheduling of all training events for pilots
Reviewing/amending Standard Operating Procedures and aircraft publications.
What do you need to be successful?
College degree in piloting or equivalent.
Must have knowledge of Transport Canada Civil Aviation Regulation CAR 604 related to flight department operation
Must have management experience within a CAR 604 or 700 organization
Must hold both a valid Airline Transport Pilot Licence (ATPL) with a minimum of 6,500-hour total flying time
Transport Canada Category 1 medical certificate
Must have the ability of obtaining a Transport Canada security clearance and CANPASS
Must be able to meet TSA requirements for training in the USA.
This position is part of a French-speaking work environment, it requires a very good knowledge of English to read and understand, on a daily basis, documentation and technical terms that may emanate from international organizations, as well as to write and communicate in English with customers, suppliers or international colleagues.
This position has been designated as ‘onsite’, with regular in person work at our premises.
