The PT Instructor position is a highly responsible position, maintaining a high quality of professionalism, carries out correctly and accurately all programs designated to instruct and assists in development of course/courseware.
Primary duties and responsibilities:
Conduct ground and flight training for trainees.
Accurately & timely documents trainee progress. Responsible for timely completion of ERK, SPE, 8710’s, IACRA and all other miscellaneous duties and associated training documents necessary for completion of training.
Evaluate the trainees’ progress in gaining skills and knowledge by the standards established.
Monitors Trainee progress throughout training and serve as a liaison between the trainee and the Program Managers.
If authorized as T.C.E., conduct Proficiency Checks and Certification Checks as authorized under FAR 142.
Assist or define possible customer training requirements through participation in training conferences, meetings.
Maintains competency and qualifications authorized to instruct.
Maintains a high level of professionalism at all times.
Performs other related duties and assignments as required.
Technical Requirements:
Time by aircraft type and licenses required.
CFII required.
ATP certificate required.
