Description
The Russ College of Engineering & Technology’s Avionics Engineering Center (AEC) at [Company] seeks applicants for the intermittent position of Avionics Engineering Center King Air Pilot. The AEC King Air Pilot will coordinate planning and piloting for transportation and equipment testing flights. The applicant must be a fully licensed pilot with valid King Air certifications. The position will require coordination with research engineers, faculty, and crew members for the flights.
Responsibilities include:
Performs pilot-in-command (PIC) functions, which include interpreting, analyzing, and applying multitudes of data and inputs to determine flight safety and feasibility.
Potentially mentor and train other personnel for co-pilot or PIC roles.
Performs recurring tasks necessary to keep aircraft in a ready state.
Other research or aircraft related duties as necessary.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Aeronautical or Aviation discipline or related field by start date.
Valid Driver’s License,
Minimum of two-years’ related experience; minimum of 2,000 hours as pilot-in-command, 200 turbine and 750-hours multiengine.
Experience with FAA NAVAIDs personnel, FAA/military air-traffic/ops personnel and local law-enforcement associated.
Second-Class medical certificate.
U.S. Passport.
Airline Transport Pilot (ATP); certification and experience with King Air Aircraft, CFI rating-airplane, single engine, multi-engine, and instrument.
Preferred Qualifications
First-Class Medical Certificate; certification and experience with DC-3, Baron B58, and Piper Saratoga.
