Air Transport Intern[Company]onal ([Company]) is an experienced supplemental carrier with the ability to reach across the globe. [Company] is an FAR Part 121 charter airline headquartered in Wilmington, Ohio, and operates a worldwide fleet of Boeing 757 and 767 cargo and combi passenger aircraft. [Company] specializes in freight forwarding, government and military contracts. [Company] is a subsidiary of Air Transport Services Group, Inc.

Purpose:
The Flight Support Specialist Intern provides support to the dispatchers, verific[Company]on of jumpseat eligible persons through Dept. of Homeland Security and CASS. Update flight tracking system for all aircraft reroutes, diversions, etc. Provide timely assistance to aircraft dispatchers.
路 Receive all incoming calls for the oper[Company]on, forwarding them to respective departments as needed.
路 Monitor email for incoming documents and instructions from Oper[Company]ons and other departments. These documents include, but are not limited to, closeouts, NOTOC forms, jump seat requests and build/cancel requests.
路 Update the movement control system (Ops) with all flight inform[Company]on needed for companywide reporting.
路 Create Adhoc flights as requested by Systems Oper[Company]onal Control (SOC), as well as swaps, cancell[Company]ons and deletions.
路 Process all jump seat requests using the CASS and TSA systems.
路 Ensure all jump seat inform[Company]on is entered into the jump seat report, NLCrew and TSA. Email CASS paperwork to crews and others as directed.
路 Send daily jump seat emails to outst[Company]on security departments.
路 Create and distribute the monthly maintenance rider and load master request spreadsheet.
路 Ensure the master jump seat spreadsheet is completed and updated as needed.
路 Update TSA program monthly with flight schedules.
路 Monitor Mbrief for closeouts and enter flight inform[Company]on into the system.
路 Other duties as assigned by management.
Position Requirements:
路 High school diploma or GED
路 Good communic[Company]on skills (written and oral)
路 Ability to work in a fast-paced multi-functional atmosphere
路 Effective geographical knowledge
路 Good interpersonal skills
路 Experience with Microsoft Excel and Word
路 Flexibility to work all shifts including weekends, holidays, and shift changes if required
Preferred Job Skills:
路 Prefer Microsoft Excel familiarity
路 Familiarity with 3-letter airport identifier codes
路 Knowledge of avi[Company]on oper[Company]ons
Physical Requirements:
路 Employees are regularly required to, stand, sit, talk, hear, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer and telephone keyboard.
