The Opportunity
As an Aviation Maintenance Technician working as a member of the [Company] Flight Department, you will be working in a fast paced, dynamic environment which emphasizes Safety as well as providing Reliable and Flexible transportation options for our customers.
The Team
The Maintenance team is comprised of six Aviation Maintenance Technicians and one Director of Maintenance. Within the team there are two lead technicians. One lead oversees the fixed wing aircraft maintenance planning and one lead oversees the rotary wing aircraft maintenance planning. The remaining four technicians are designated as crew chiefs, one for each of the four aircraft [Company] operates. Several of the key competencies the team often demonstrates are agility, communication and resilience all of which contribute to the overall success of the flight department and allows for safe, reliable, flexible transportation that enables customer productivity.
The Impact
Performs scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, repairs and inspections of company operated aircraft IAW CFR’s, manufacturers standards and company procedures ensuring proper operation, aircraft safety and airworthiness of the aircraft fleet
Diagnoses, troubleshoots, isolates and repairs equipment malfunctions reported by the flight crews
Performs all duties related to aircraft departures and arrivals
Ensures all aircraft maintenance records, reports and forms are IAW CFR’s and company procedures
Provides technical assistance and guidance to other Technicians on areas of expertise as required
Assumes any duties delegated by the Director of Maintenance
Position is responsible for aircraft arrivals and departures (rotating team schedule)
Minimum Qualifications
Holds a valid FAA Airframe and Powerplant Certificate
5+ years of aviation related work experience
High School or GED diploma
Ideal Qualifications
Falcon 7X / 8X or Falcon 2000 EX Easy experience preferred
Honeywell EPIC system experience preferred
Strong Avionics background preferred
AW139 helicopter experience desired
FAA Inspection Authorization (IA) certificate desired
Willing to work flexible hours and occasional weekends
Excellent communication skills
The ability to work within a team-oriented environment
Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future
