Global Express Captain ($275k - $300k)
We are seeking a highly experienced, internationally qualified Global Express Captain to join a dedicated four-pilot crew and Cabin Attendant based in Van Nuys, CA. This position supports a globally active owner account operating under a structured, long-term crew model with significant international mission exposure.
This is not a transient charter assignment. It is a professionally managed, flagship-level operation requiring mature command presence, refined owner interaction skills, and consistent worldwide regulatory compliance. The aircraft is well-maintained, operationally supported, and flown within a culture that prioritizes safety, discipline, and operational excellence.
The selected Captain will serve as a flight deck leader responsible for safe, compliant, and seamless execution of international missions while maintaining the highest standards of discretion, professionalism, and crew collaboration.
What you'll be doing:
• Ensuring aircraft airworthiness by reviewing the current maintenance status.
• Conducting thorough pre-flight inspections in accordance with the approved Aircraft Flight Manual.
• Reviewing weather, NOTAMs, facilities, and all operational factors for the planned route, destination, and alternates.
• Operating every flight in full compliance with company policies, procedures, and all applicable Federal Aviation Regulations.
• Maintaining the highest standard of safety for passengers, crew, and the aircraft at all times.
• Completing all trip-related documentation accurately and in accordance with established procedures.
To do well in this role, you'll need:
Flight Time & Experience Requirements
• Total Time: 3,500 hours (or 3,000 hours PIC).
• Multi-Engine Time: 3,000 hours (or 2,000 hours PIC).
• Total Turbine Time: 1,750 hours preferred.
• Time in Type (BD-700): 200 hours total (or 100 hours PIC).
• BD-700 type rating or type rating in a comparable aircraft.
• Part 135 experience preferred but not required.
Certifications & Compliance:
• Valid First Class Medical Certificate (required).
• ICAO Annex I – 2.1.1.0 compliance for international commercial ops requiring two pilots.
• Ability to obtain and maintain CANPASS authorization for unrestricted travel to/from Canada.
