The following position is to join our RTX Corporate Team:
[Company] is offering a position as an intern for our Corporate Aviation Department, RTFlight. Our operation consists of a professional team of pilots, flight attendants, maintenance & dispatch personnel and operates a fleet of corporate jets & helicopters in accordance with FAR Part 91. The Aviation Intern will gain firsthand knowledge of business aircraft operation through the "hands on" observation of all facets of the flight department and be an integral part of our team and culture of safety.
What You Will Do
The Aviation Intern can expect to gain exposure and operational understanding of:
Domestic and International Flight Planning and Operations
Aircraft Maintenance & Servicing and Safety Management Systems
Customer Service
Aircraft and Crew Scheduling as well as Flight Planning
Security and IS-BAO Compliance
This individual will perform various office duties and work with company mentors to complete special projects. We are looking for a team player with strong interpersonal skills and an outstanding customer service mindset. This position reports directly to the Assistant Chief Pilot.
Qualifications You Must Have
Candidates much be currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree. Please upload a copy of your academic transcripts with your application.
1+ years of experience in Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word)
This position may require access to systems/tools that are restricted to individuals who possess US citizenship.
Qualifications We Prefer:
A minimum of a 3.0 GPA.
Positive attitude and self-motivated work skills
Private Pilot's certificate is strongly desired.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
