[Company] is seeking an experienced and highly qualified Pilot in Command to
operate our Citation CJ3 under Part 135 charter operations.
Duties and Responsibilities
As a Captain, you will be responsible for ensuring safe and efficient flight operations
while adhering to FAA regulations, company procedures, and the ARGUS Platinum
standards for flight operations. The ideal candidate will meet or exceed the
qualifications outlined by ARGUS Platinum for the Citation CJ3, and possess a
strong commitment to upholding the highest standards of aviation safety.
To be considered for a pilot position, you must:
Must be available to work 8 days on, 6 days off schedule, including nights,
weekends and holidays.
Domiciled in Van Nuys(not commutable)
Other Responsibilities:
Ensure flight operations are conducted safely, efficiently, and in compliance
with all applicable regulations, company policies, and customer requirements.
Conduct pre-flight inspections, prepare flight plans, and ensure the aircraft is
airworthy.
Perform crew resource management and make real-time decisions in flight,
ensuring safety of passengers and crew.
Maintain accurate records of flight logs, maintenance reports, and other
required documentation.
Provide exceptional customer service, including ensuring passenger comfort
and satisfaction during flight.
Stay current on regulations, flight techniques, and aircraft performance
standards.
Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times.
Physical and Other Requirements(be able to lift 50 lbs)
Must have a First Class Medical
Must be willing to fly assigned schedule; including days, nights, weekends, and
holidays.
Stock aircraft, assist in loading passenger bags, prepare aircraft for next
departure
Must posses a valid drivers license and maintain a clean driving record
Clear a comprehensive background check
Successfully pass a drug screening test
PIC Minimum Qualifications
3000 Hours of total flight time(fixed wing)
1500 hours of total PIC time
1000 hours of turbine time
Unrestricted FAA Airline Transport Pilot License
Other Requirements
No accidents, incidents, or enforement actions
Be at least 23 years of age
Hold a Commercial Pilot Certificate with Multi-Engine and Instrument Ratings
English Proficiency Endorsement (EPE) on Airman Certificate
Hold a current FAA First Class Medical Certificate
Be a U.S. citizen or able to show proof of right to work in the U.S.
Hold FCC Radiotelephone Operator's Permit.
Have a current Passport --or other travel documents enabling the bearer to
freely exit and re-enter the U.S. (multiple reentry status) and be legally eligible
to work in the U.S. (possess proper working documents)
Must reside within 2 hours of VNY
Flight Time in Citation Models preferred
Previous 135 experience preferred
Compensation Package
Base salary of $140,000 with total compensation of over $186,500
$3 per hour per diem
Scheduled Day Off (SDO): $1,000
