[Company] is seeking a Second in Command (SIC) to join an established two-pilot crew operating a Gulfstream GIV based in the New York area (TEB/HPN).
This aircraft supports a dedicated owner program operating under both Part 91 and Part 135, with missions throughout North America and occasional international travel to Europe, Mexico, and Canada. The crew environment values professionalism, operational excellence, and a service mindset aligned with the expectations of a private owner and charter clientele.
The SIC will work closely with the Captain and [Company] Flight Operations team to ensure safe, efficient, and seamless aircraft operations while supporting a high-touch owner experience.

What you'll be doing:
Assist the Captain in ensuring the aircraft is maintained in an airworthy condition by reviewing maintenance status and aircraft documentation.
Conduct thorough pre-flight inspections in accordance with the approved Aircraft Flight Manual and company procedures.
Review weather, NOTAMs, routing, and airport facilities, including alternates, prior to each flight.
Support the safe and efficient execution of each flight in accordance with [Company] policies, standard operating procedures, and applicable Federal Aviation Regulations.
Maintain constant awareness of and responsibility for the safety of passengers, crew, and aircraft operations.
Accurately complete all flight, trip, and operational documentation in accordance with company procedures.
To do well in this role, you'll need:
Total time in all aircraft = 2500 hours.
Multi-engine time = 1000 hours.
Total Turbine time = 500 hours preferred.
Valid First Class Medical Certificate. This is required.
Previous Part 135 experience. This is preferred, but not required.
CANPASS authorization. You'll need the ability to obtain and maintain CANPASS authorization for unrestricted travel to/from Canada as a commercial pilot.
Strong customer service skills. Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) will need to be demonstrated with all levels of employees and clients. Communication must always be delivered with a superior level of professionalism.
High level of detail. You'll need to be highly organized with the ability to thrive in changing environments and the flexibility for frequently changing priorities.
Excellent time management skills. You'll need to be able to work on an on-call basis, with the ability to work well under pressure and to multi-task. [Company] is a 24/7 organization, so this role requires a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and Holidays.
