IOE Schedulers are responsible for coordinating the full lifecycle of IOE Training requirements for Pilots and Flight Attendants, including planning, scheduling, monitoring and reporting on completion of the active line-flying training program. The incumbent must ensure that they are efficiently utilizing trainee and crew members’ time, including Line Check Airman (LCA) and Check Flight Attendants (CFA), within the limitations of the Federal Air Regulations, contractual confines, labor work rules, and company policies.
Assign new hire crew members with Line Check Airman and Check Flight Attendants to line flying for training.
Schedule AQP/SLF and requalification line events.
Coordinate with other departments in the development of new LCA/CFA.
Manage relationship with the FAA to perform crew member’s observations and track all scheduled FAA observations to completion.
Coordinate with multiple departments to monitor and review crew member’s progress during training.
Coordinate with multiple departments to build crew member’s monthly schedules.
Manage monthly schedules for annual line checks.
Assure all flight crews are qualified to perform duties, pursuant to regulations, equipment restrictions, and contractual restrictions.
Attend Pilot and Flight Attendant new hire classes to review contract and provide guidance concerning line flying during IOE training as well as after becoming a qualified crewmember.
Track qualified Pilots’ consolidation hours.
Generate and evaluate reports as necessary to ensure that crews are legal and qualified for flight assignments.
Promote a positive and supportive team culture adaptive to industry changes and standards.
Monitor and manage irregular operations and daily flight operations for crew conflicts, including but not limited to duty time compliance, crew legality, and company policy.
Maintain logs of significant events in order to assist in reporting, follow-up and relief debriefing.
Responsible for the Company's Security and Safety Management System (SMS) and associated Safety Risk Management and Safety Assurance outputs.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Required
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Experience with complex scheduling of large populations of personnel to assigned tasks while adhering to multiple regulations and contract stipulations.
At least two years of experience in an office, administrative and/or customer service role.
Excellent organizational and communication skills.
Intermediate to advanced computer skills with Microsoft Office programs.
Ability to speak/read/write in English.
If hired, must be able to demonstrate that you are authorized to work in the US.
Preferred
College or Technical coursework.
Knowledge of Federal Air Regulations, contractual confines, and labor work rules.
Sabre or other flight booking software experience.
Aviation background.
