Lead a Growing Part 135 Operation
Out client is expanding, and they are building the leadership team to scale with it. As a vertically integrated aviation platform offering FBO services, FAA Part 145 Maintenance, Aircraft Management, and Part 135 Charter, they control the full client experience. Their charter operation is growing, their fleet is expanding, and their infrastructure investment is accelerating.
Thee are seeking a Chief Pilot who can lead from the front, operationally, culturally, and strategically. This is a key leadership role inside a scaling charter operation.

Role Overview
The Chief Pilot reports directly to the Director of Operations and is responsible for the performance, compliance, and professional development of all flight crew members. The Chief Pilot must meet the qualifications of 14 CFR 搂119.71(b) and be eligible to exercise Operational Control under 搂135.77.
Core Leadership Responsibilities
路 Lead all initial, recurrent, and upgrade training programs.
路 Ensure compliance with FAA regulations, Ops Specs, and company SOPs.
路 Oversee crew scheduling and duty/rest compliance.
路 Exercise Operational Control under 14 CFR 搂135.77.
路 Maintain pilot qualification records and regulatory documentation.
路 Oversee AFM revisions and manufacturer updates.
路 Recruit, mentor, and standardize flight crew members.
路 Collaborate with Safety, Maintenance, Sales, and Flight Control departments.
Required Qualifications
路 ATP Certificate with appropriate aircraft ratings.
路 Qualified to serve as PIC in at least one company-operated aircraft. (Sovereign, Kingair350, Global 5000, Lear 45XR, Bravo 550, Citation 560XL)
路 Meets 14 CFR 搂119.71 Chief Pilot requirements.
路 Minimum 3 years PIC experience under Part 121 or 135 (per regulatory requirements).
路 Strong knowledge of FAA regulations, Ops Specs, and Part 135 operations.
路 Demonstrated leadership and decision-making capability.
Preferred Qualifications
路 Previous supervisory or managerial leadership in flight operations.
路 Prior Check Airman designation.
路 Experience managing pilot training and standardization programs.
路 Operational systems proficiency (scheduling, tracking, document management).
路 Demonstrated commitment to safety culture and continuous improvement.
