Seeking a professional, flexible, dynamic, and motivated Captain, (Pilot in Command (PIC)) with Challenger 604 type rating to join our Part 91 operational team based in Austin, TX.
The ideal candidate will have effective communication skills coupled with enthusiasm and a passion to deliver to the best possible flight experience from preflight to postflight. The PIC’s primary contribution is to ensure that every flight is continuously conducted safely, in compliance with all FAA and other government regulations, and ultimately to exceed the owner’s expectations, while upholding the values of an outstanding culture and business environment.

Requirements / Qualifications:
Airman Certificate: Airline Transport Pilot (ATP)
Medical Certificate: 1st Class Medical
Total Flight Time: 4,000 Hours
Pilot in Command Turbojet: 2,000 Hours
CL-604 PIC: 400 Hours
Actual Instrument time: 300 Hours
FAA Sanctions last 5 Years: None
Accidents/Incidents last 5 years: None

Active Passport
Recent Flight Experience is required.

Duties / Responsibilities:
Acting as PIC of flights for which the pilot has been scheduled.
Final authority for the operation of the aircraft assigned.
Prepares or supervise preparation of flight plans considering factors such as altitude, terrain, weather, range, weight and balance, cruise performance, fuel considerations, airport facilities, and navigational aids (Unless done by a scheduler or dispatcher) and post flight procedure.
Complying with schedules, and other directives governing the aircrafts operation.
Perform a visual pre-flight (walk-around) inspection prior to each flight and after each flight.
Studying weather conditions at destination, enroute, alternate airports and departure points.
Providing excellent customer service to passengers.
Primary responsibility for the safety of the passengers, crew members, cargo, and the aircraft.
Review thoroughly and brief the first officer (second in command/SIC) specifically on all customer service items including, but not limited to, passenger pick up, passenger drop off, refueling, customs, private hangar pick up/drop off private hangar communication requirements, and passenger catering.
Comply with all Federal Aviation Regulations, Company Operations Manual, Operations Specifications, Letters of Authorization, Standard Operating Procedures, and Company Policies and Procedures.
Maintains currency and efficiency on assigned aircraft.
Ensures navigational database, aircraft flight manuals, including a hard copy of the quick reference handbook, and subscriptions needed for flight planning are current.
Ensuring that the aircraft is clean, stocked, and prepared for flight with all provisions on board for the safety and comfort of the passengers.
Provide input and assist with the creation of and revisions to company checklists on assigned aircraft.
Perform tasks associated with operating the aircraft while away from home base.
Supervising the SIC in any duties necessary for the smooth, safe, and efficient operation of the aircraft.
Monitoring crew performance and sharing knowledge with crewmembers.
Making decisions necessary to start, delay, or cancel flights and deviate the flight from planned route or destination when operating conditions dictate following all company policies and procedures.
Safely and efficiently operate aircraft while abiding by government guidelines and manufacturer’s configurations and updates.
Anticipate, identify, report, and apply safety and security measures. Make sound decisions.
Reports known or suspected FAA violations or incidents promptly to the Director of Aviation and/or through the Aviation Safety Reporting System.
Adapt to needs, conditions and changes.
Self-starter with excellent interpersonal, customer service, and communication skills.
Performs other related duties as required.
