THE JOB:
[Company] is seeking a skilled and experienced Assistant Chief Pilot to join our Aviation team. This role is critical in ensuring the safety, compliance, and operational excellence of our corporate flight department. As a key leader, the Assistant Chief Pilot will oversee flight standards, support pilot training and evaluation, and maintain regulatory adherence for worldwide operations. You’ll also play a vital role in mentoring pilots and supporting safety initiatives that align with our mission to deliver exceptional experiences.
THE DAY-TO-DAY:
Serve as Pilot-in-Command on company flights, ensuring safety and service excellence.
Mentor and supervise a team of pilots, providing guidance and performance feedback.
Collaborate with the Chief Pilot on scheduling, crew pairing, and performance management.
Develop and maintain operational standards, training materials, manuals, and procedures.
Lead initiatives tied to international operations and regulatory compliance (FAA, OEM, etc.).
Ensure company aircraft are operated in alignment with departmental, federal, and international guidelines.
Maintain aircraft and act as a subject matter expert across the company fleet.
Partner with the Chief Pilot and Director of Safety to uphold and refine SOPs and safety protocols.
Screen, hire, and onboard new pilots to support staffing needs based on aircraft and operational demands.
Stay current on industry regulations, trends, and technology that impact business aviation.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
6000+ hours of total flight time, including 2500+ hours of multi-engine turbine time.
Experience with large-cabin aircraft and advanced digital avionics.
5+ years in aviation leadership roles such as Line Instructor, Evaluator, or Training Manager.
5+ years developing flight procedures in formalized jet aircraft operations.
3+ years of aviation supervisory experience.
No FAA accidents or incidents.
Deep knowledge of FAA regulations and international flight procedures.
Proven ability to lead, mentor, and communicate effectively with flight personnel.

Pay Range:
The pay range for this role is:
$172,900.00 - $230,600.00
Please keep in mind that this range represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual salary offer will take into account a wide range of factors, including location.
This position is eligible to participate in the Company’s incentive plan.
