We currently have an immediate opening for a Field Service Representative, based in Columbus, OH, USA reporting to a Manager, Fleet Operators and Service Program Management.
In your role, you will:
Support customer in integrating [Company] business aircraft into their operations, ensuring safety, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
Provide robust troubleshooting support to assist customers in resolving technical issues effectively.
Prioritize and escalate technical or operational concerns within both the customer’s organization and [Company].
Provide informal training and share technical, operational, and logistical insights related to aircraft operation and maintenance.
Keep [Company] management informed of key operational and maintenance issues affecting customer aircraft.
Identify opportunities to enhance customer procedures and operations involving [Company] aircraft.
Encourage customers to implement [Company]-recommended actions that improve product performance and satisfaction by share Airworthiness Directives (AW), Service Bulletins (SBs), and other relevant [Company] documentation to clarify intent and highlight operational enhancements.
Deliver reports in line with established schedules and requirements.
Lead or support field teams during modification retrofits, product upgrades, and damage repairs at customer facilities or service centres.
Navigate and utilise [Company]’s internal customer support and in-service processes effectively.
Identify and escalate recurring fleet issues to [Company] Technical Services for potential product improvements.
Participate in customer meetings, including fleet reliability and operational reviews.
Travel to service facilities as needed to oversee complex troubleshooting or upon customer request.
You have at least 5 years of aviation maintenance experience
You have at least 2 years of experience with [Company] products (Global 5000 / 6000 series, Global 7500, Challenger 300/350 series, and Challenger 605/650 series)
You have strong aircraft troubleshooting skills
You have computer skills necessary to learn and/or operate word processing, spreadsheet, database, email, and web-based applications
You have interpersonal skills necessary to work effectively with a variety of individuals, departments, organizations, and regulatory agencies
You have business writing skills necessary to create various reports and correspondence
You have the ability to travel
You are an EASA or FAA licensed Airframe & Powerplant mechanic - preferred
