Northern Jet is seeking experienced Second-in-Command pilots to support operations across our CL600 Series and CL300/350 Series aircraft. This role provides the opportunity to fly a diverse mix of Part 91 and Part 135 missions while operating premium super-midsize and large-cabin aircraft within a growing private aviation operation.
Competitive Pay and Incentives:
Base salary of $85,000+ depending on experience, with total compensation of over $105,000+ first year
Daily and annual pay incentives, including:
Scheduled Day Off (SDO): $800 for SIC.
Holiday Pay: $800.
Domestic Per Diem: $75; International Per Diem: $120.
Additional roles (e.g., Standardization Captain, Instructor) offer bonuses up to $20,000.
Location: Home Based – must reside east of Texas
Schedule: 8 days on 6 days off

This is a unique opportunity for an experienced SIC seeking a dynamic and well-rounded flying environment within a growing private aviation company. Pilots in this role will gain valuable experience conducting a mix of both Part 135 and Part 91 operations while flying approximately 450+ hours annually, providing consistent utilization and meaningful time in aircraft. About this Role:
As a Second-in-Command supporting Northern Jet’s CL600 Series and CL300/350 Series aircraft, you are responsible for the safe, compliant, and seamless execution of every mission while delivering exceptional client experiences. This position supports a dynamic flight operation with a mix of Part 91 and Part 135 flying, giving pilots exposure to a variety of aircraft, mission profiles, destinations, and client needs.
Pilots in this role will work closely with Captains, flight operations leadership, maintenance, scheduling, and client services to ensure every trip is executed safely, professionally, and in alignment with Northern Jet’s high standards of service.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
As second-in-command, you will operate flights under both Part 91 and Part 135 on-demand, ensuring the seamless execution of missions while maintaining full compliance with FAA regulations related to flight operations, duty hours, and pilot qualifications. You will follow company procedures for reporting any discrepancies with the aircraft during flight or ground operations. Additionally, you will be responsible for completing administrative tasks as assigned by company management.

Current 1st Class Medical
Unrestricted FAA Airline Transport Pilot License
Other Requirements
No accidents, incidents, or warnings within the past five years.
Thorough knowledge of corporate aviation and international procedures, including operations in Canada, Mexico, and the Caribbean.
Exceptional customer service, organizational, and communication skills.
Maintain an impeccable professional appearance at all times.
Demonstrate a strong commitment to delivering the highest level of customer service.
Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Successfully pass a drug screening test.
