A day in the life of a [Company] Inflight Instructor/Evaluator is dynamic and multi-faceted. The Inflight Services Training team provides the following outstanding training: Continuing Qualification, Aircraft Transition, Requalification, Customer Service, and other types of training as needed. The Instructor/Evaluator position will facilitate various curricula to flight attendants ensuring student needs are supported. The position will deliver flight attendant training to meet Unitedâs operational needs while ensuring compliance with federal regulations and company policies and standards. If you like a fast-paced training environment, then this exciting opportunity is for you! Training and lesson plans on all curricula and program expectations will be provided. You will have the ability to shape how our customers and co-workers feel about United.
Demonstrate our core4 standards (Safe, Caring, Dependable and Efficient) while delivering regulatory and service training curricula with lesson plans approved by the FAA and/or United
Conduct AQP Announced and Unannounced Line Check Evaluations and provide feedback to flight attendants and stakeholders
Complete Service Line Checks to collect data to drive improvement in our Net Promoter Score (NPS)
Conduct safety-related training events at flight attendant bases
Evaluate trainee/flight attendant performance in line with FAA and United standards
Ensure United core4 standards policy and procedure compliance is met
High School Diploma
Required to attend and successfully complete United's flight attendant training to earn FAA certification if not currently qualified. Obtaining and maintaining flight qualifications is an essential function of the job. Failure to obtain and maintain flight qualifications may result in termination.
Willingness to align with flight attendant tattoo guidelines. Tattoos are not permitted on the head, neck, or hands, including behind the ear
Ability to optimally complete [Company] Inflight Training instructor program qualification
Teaching/facilitating/training experience
Ability to work shifts of 10-hour per day, in a fast-paced environment, often walking, lifting and resetting equipment
Excellent ability to navigate content utilizing electronic device and learn flight attendant regulatory and service content contained in electronic device (LINK)âElectronic Flight Attendant Manual (eFAOM), Inflight Policies and Procedures Manual (IPPM), Content App, etc.
Excellent verbal communication skills
Able to work both independently and in a team environment

Proven conflict resolution and decision-making capability
Reliable, punctual attendance is a crucial function of the position

Bachelor's degree
AQP qualified instructor/evaluator
Management experience
Working knowledge of CFR Part 121 regulations, Advanced Qualification Programs, the Aircraft Operators Standard Security Program and United flight attendant responsibilities and procedures
