Role Summary
This role is responsible for executing on the strategy for in-flight training delivery at [Company]. As a people leader, the Manager leads and establishes priorities for the team to deliver and administer flight attendant training programs, ensuring regulatory compliance and operational excellence.
Key Duties
Lead team and establish priorities for inflight training delivery, instructor calibration, and regulatory compliance.
Execute on strategy for training program implementation and quality assurance with a 6–12 month horizon.
Make decisions related to training operations, instructor qualification, and curriculum execution
Develop people through performance management, feedback, and professional development.
Shape culture of team through action, presence, and reinforcement of behaviors.
Influence across Inflight and other departments to ensure training alignment and effectiveness.
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders including FAA and AFA to maintain training standards.
Monitor and report budget for inflight training delivery.
Job-Specific Experience, Education & Skills
Required
5 years of experience in inflight training, training standards and compliance, or related area.
2 years of leadership experience.
Bachelor’s degree or an additional two years of relevant training/experience in lieu of this degree.
Demonstrated knowledge of 14CFR Part 121 air carrier operations, approved training programs and inflight operations.
Knowledge of appropriate FAA Advisory Circulars, applicable regulatory guidance and the flight attendant certification processes.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
Must successfully complete Initial New Hire Flight Attendant Training (if not already qualified as an AS Flight Attendant) and maintain certification as a Flight Attendant.
Ability to hold and maintain AS Inflight Instructor qualifications.
Clear pre-employment DOT testing.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Minimum age of 21.
Must be authorized to work in the U.S.

Salary Range
$92,650 -- $139,000 / year
