[Company] is seeking professional, customer-focused flight instructors to help build a premier flight training organization in Montana.
We are particularly interested in candidates who hold both CFII and MEI certificates; however, qualified instructors with strong instructional experience are encouraged to apply.
We are not looking for instructors who simply want to build hours. We are looking for professionals who take pride in helping students achieve their aviation goals while creating an exceptional training experience from the first discovery flight through checkride completion.

Responsibilities
Provide high-quality flight and ground instruction
Mentor students through Private Pilot, Instrument, Commercial, and Multi-Engine training
Maintain accurate training records, endorsements, and student documentation
Follow company SOPs and training standards
Deliver a professional, customer-focused training experience
Support student success from enrollment through checkride completion
Participate in instructor standardization and recurrent training
Required Qualifications
FAA Certified Flight Instructor (CFI)
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Professional appearance and attitude
Commitment to safety, professionalism, and customer service
Preferred Qualifications
FAA Certified Flight Instructor – Instrument (CFII)
FAA Multi-Engine Instructor (MEI)
Piper Archer experience
Piper Seminole experience
Previous Part 61 or Part 141 instructional experience
Mountain flying experience
High-density altitude operating experience
Compensation
Compensation is based on the type of instruction being provided, not the instructor certificate held.
Primary Instruction (Discovery Flights, Private Pilot Training, Basic VFR Instruction)
$40/hour
Advanced Instruction (Instrument Training, Commercial Training, Advanced Endorsements)
$50/hour
Multi-Engine & Specialized Instruction (Multi-Engine Training and Specialty Programs)
$60/hour
Additional Performance Bonuses
$100 first-attempt checkride pass bonus per student per rating
$50 new student onboarding bonus
Examples
An MEI teaching Private Pilot training earns $40/hour
An MEI teaching Instrument or Commercial training earns $50/hour
An MEI teaching Multi-Engine instruction earns $60/hour
