Your role and responsibilities
A Chief Pilot leads the team of pilots, ensuring safety and efficiency in flight operations while managing training, compliance, and communication with regulatory agencies.
Key Responsibilities
Flight Operations Management: Oversee all flight operations, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
Pilot Supervision: Manage and supervise the team of pilots, ensuring they are trained, current, and meeting operational standards.
Flight Planning: Review and approve flight plans, ensuring optimal routes and safety measures are in place.
Training and Development: Coordinate pilot training programs and schedules, ensuring all pilots are adequately prepared for their duties.
Communication: Act as a liaison between pilots and management, distributing important information and addressing any concerns or requests from the flight crew.
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to FAA regulations and other industry standards, maintaining necessary documentation and records for audits and inspections.
Safety Management: Implement and manage safety protocols, identifying and mitigating risks associated with flight operations.
