Commercial AMEL & 2nd Class medical required
Flight time minimums are:
400 Hrs Total Time
30 Hrs ME time (15 hrs Minimum PIC ME time)
High Performance Endorsement

For C182 Pilots:
Commercial ASEL & 2nd Class medical required
Flight time minimums are:
325 Hrs Total Time
5 Hrs PIC C182 time PLUS minimum of 10 landings in C182
High Performance Endorsement
ALL Finalists must successfully complete a “flight confirmation/interview” at KGXY. This is held the first 2 days of training.
Pilots for ProStar are dispatched across the continental United States (primarily west of the Mississippi river). Pilots can expect overland survey flights, over mountains, and in Class B and Restricted airspace. Typical daily flight time when capturing is 6-10 hours with an average of approximately 300 flight hours in a season.
This is a Seasonal position – mid-October/November to mid/late June, with capture generally starting Nov 1 or Dec 1. Required training in October at our home location in Greeley, Colorado.
This is a traveling position as you go where the capture is located. Pilots are generally on a 21 day on / 14 day off rotation.
