[Company] is Alaska’s largest crude oil producer and largest owner of exploration leases, with approximately 1.2 million net undeveloped acres at year-end 2022. The company produced an average of 200 thousand barrels of oil equivalent per day in 2022. [Company] has major ownership interests in two of North America’s largest legacy conventional oil fields, both located on Alaska’s North Slope: Kuparuk, which the company operates, and Prudhoe Bay. Additionally, [Company] operates several fields on the Western North Slope. The company has an ownership interest in the Trans-Alaska Pipeline System (TAPS) and owns/operates the Polar Tankers fleet.

As one of the world’s largest independent exploration and production companies, [Company] transports over 150,000 passengers annually in support of its business operations. Our Global Aviation Services group operates in the contiguous United States as well as the state of Alaska, and has an expansive fleet consisting of Q400, Gulfstream G550, Cessna Citation, Twin Otter, and Casa 212 aircraft.
If you are selected as the Aircraft Pilot, you will serve as a pilot of company Q400 aircraft in support of Alaska operations based in Anchorage, AK. You will be responsible for supporting domestic flight operations requirements for [Company].
This is a Safety Sensitive position.
Job Description
Responsibilities may include:
Safely/proficiently operating the company aircraft
Operating aircraft in accordance with all applicable regulations and [Company] Aviation Standard Operating Procedures
Maintaining preparedness to proficiently operate as second-in-command, including being available with 1 hours’ notice for Standby duty, when assigned
Maintaining the ability to readily adapt to changing schedules
Planning flights, selecting the safest and most efficient routes, providing for contingencies, and developing alternative flight plan routes
Obtaining, reviewing, and interpreting weather/NOTAMs
Utilizing a Flight Risk Assessment Tool to assess and mitigate risk
Performing aircraft pre-flight and post flight inspections
Determining appropriate fuel loads
Determining the accurate loading of passengers, baggage, and cargo
Calculating/solving weight and balance problems
Completing records and appropriate entries in aircraft logbooks/operations forms
Being proactive/able to work effectively and efficiently, without direct supervision
Providing team leadership and promoting teamwork within the aviation department
Additional duties as assigned
Basic/Required:
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis for anyone other than current employer
3+ years aviation experience
Commercial Pilot FAA Certificate, multi-engine land rating
Current FAA First Class Medical Certification
Minimum 2,500 hours total flight time completed/logged
Minimum 750 hours multiengine airplane flight time completed/logged
Minimum 1,500 hours PIC airplane flight time completed/logged
Minimum 500 hours multiengine PIC airplane flight time completed/logged
