Career Highlights

Wrote extensively for various aviation magazines for many years.

Spent 27+ years as a line checkairman on various jet aircraft

Easily made the transition from airline to FAR91/135 operations!

Objective

Part or full time employment as pilot for a U.S. based corporate flight department, leveraging my longtime experience as a captain and instructor evaluator for major Part 121 air carriers. Interested in U.S. based operation, would consider an overseas contract position.

Additional Details: I've made the transition from a longtime airline career to on demand FAR Part 91/135 flight operations as a Hawker800XP captain. I have extensive worldwide international operations experience and have spent time living abroad (Paris, France) as well.

I possess significant instructor/evaluator experience, having spent approximately 27 years as a Line Checkairman for both Continental Airlines and United Airlines, on MD80, B727, B737 and B757/767 aircraft.

I've also written extensively on various aviation subjects, having published 150+ articles in such publications as AOPA Pilot, Air & Space Smithsonian, Aviation Week & Space Technology, Airways, Airliner, Aviation Safety and Airline Pilot.

In a nutshell I'm in excellent health, love to fly, and am available for the right high quality corporate flying opportunity. I am especially interested in operating international flights, and would consider relocating internationally for that purpose.
