Sr. Training Specialist, Talent Programs

Unique Skills:

-2 years experience facilitating training programs including culture, inclusiveness and change management required. This position will help drive alignment between culture initiatives, diversity and inclusion strategy and leadership development principles. -Experience combining a successful and in-depth diversity and inclusion training background with demonstrated strengths in design, development and delivery of high-impact learning solutions.

Education and Experience Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. Four (4) years of progressively responsible related HR experience. Experience in Training related area preferred.

Position Purpose:
Under minimal supervision, facilitates leadership and orientation programs. Monitors and reports on the effectiveness of training. Will be involved in course design and existing course enhancements. Supports training at all Gulfstream facilities as required.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities:

Essential Functions: 6. Acts as an internal consultant on training issues within all leadership development programs. 7. Responsible for managing all aspects of assigned leadership development program(s), inclusive of all non-classroom items such as the following: pre-work, post-work, coaching employees during and outside of the classroom on assignments and tracking completion of course objectives and assignments. 1. Responsible for sustaining learning of all participants by providing regular and consistent updates on content, materials and other relevant information once they’ve completed the program(s). 2. Effectively prepares course objectives, outlines, lesson plans, handouts and other instructional material. Manages students assigned to GAC classes. 3. Responsible for documentation of training of all students in LMS. 4. Responsible for cross-training to teach all leadership programs/courses and orientation. Facilitates cross-training of other leadership development specialists. 5. Understand and monitor metrics that will identify key business effectiveness, potential issues, results and ROI of all leadership development and orientation programs. Provides reports to leadership on relevant trends as requested. 8. Interfaces with departments to assure that training department is knowledgeable of product changes or modifications and incorporates them into new or existing training programs.

Additional Functions: 1. May mentor, lead, or direct the work of other instructors within the department. 2. Assist other instructors as needed. 3. Ensures equipment is functioning properly and training facilities are maintained in an orderly and professional manner. Perform other duties as assigned.

Other Requirements: 1. Must demonstrate excellent presentation skills (i.e. speak to groups) and ability to effectively deliver course material. 2. Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within field. Must exhibit good organizational skills, strong verbal and written communication skills and team building skills. 3. Basic understanding of Lean Manufacturing and Lean Six Sigma concepts. 4. Basic understanding of Project Management terminology and skills. 5. Basic understanding of global business acumen. 6. Basic understanding of metrics and data analysis. 7. Knowledge of standard office equipment and business applications. 8. Skilled user of PowerPoint, MSWord, Excel, Microsoft Outlook and development software. 9. Travel required. 10. Ability to conduct training for all shifts and facilities. 11. Must have high initiative and be able to work to deadlines, manage multiple projects and maintain confidentiality.
