Key Responsibilities

Responsible for development and maintenance of all curricula and courseware for fleet specific training
Represent the Fleet in all cross-fleet training decisions and work efforts
Responsible for all fleet specific instructor and student courseware and materials used for instruction
Responsible for fleet specific distance learning content
Responsible for all data collection tools (grade sheets and rosters)
Responsible for fleet specific content contained within Training Program Manual and AQP Manual
Responsible for all fleet specific training standards policies
Represent the Fleet in all cross-fleet training standards policies, decisions, and work efforts
Oversight of Instructor/Evaluator Quality Assurance program
Responsible for fleet specific instructor/evaluator Qualification and Continuing Qualification training
Analyze AQP data and engagement with line events to inform areas of emphasis for each year’s training program(s); to inform training effectiveness and overall approaches to improving flight crew performance
Create curriculum and compliance presentations
Collaborate with AQP Manager to ensure compliance
Other duties as assigned

Minimum Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Three years’ experience in Part 121 air carrier operations either as a pilot or in management or oversight of pilot training programs
Knowledge and experience regarding the regulatory requirements involved in maintaining FAA Approved Training Program Manual documentation
Proven ability to build and maintain effective professional partnerships at all levels of a company and with companies, organizations, people outside of HA; credible; consistently presents self professionally (verbally, non-verbally, in writing, through behaviors, and dress and grooming)
Excellent verbal, written, interpersonal relationship and customer-focus skills; works effectively in teams, work groups, task teams, and independently
Demonstrated competence with technology
Self-starter, organized, detail-oriented with excellent follow through skills
Creative, able to create a motivational environment for employees; proven ability to affect/create positive change
Able to travel to all HA locations; must be able to hold a valid HA driver\\\'s license; able to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings, as needed
Preferred Qualifications

Degree from a four-year accredited college or university
Five years’ experience in Part 121 air carrier operations
Demonstrated competence in effective project management skills; ability to manage multiple projects and consistently meet deadlines and budget guidelines
Experience with training as an Instructor / Check Airman for a Part 121 carrier
Broad supervisory experience leading individual employees as well as proven effective, people-focused leadership skills
