Position: Challenger 300 Corporate Pilot Needed / Co-Captain (Portland, OR)

Description: The Co-Captain will work with the Chief Pilot or contract pilot to fly our corporate 2007, Proline 21 Advanced, Challenger 300. Primary responsibilities include preflight planning, pilotage, navigation, pre/post-flight procedures, and aircraft security. Secondary responsibilities include maintaining databases, completing flight department management related tasks, maintaining pilot proficiency, and maintaining thorough knowledge of our operational capabilities and authorizations.

• Safely and efficiently transport company personnel and family members while providing excellent customer service
• Be legally licensed and current, adequately rested, and prepared to work when needed
• Performs flight planning and filing, taking into consideration such factors as altitude, terrain, weather, NOTAMS, weight and balance, performance limitations, airport facilities requirements, fuel required, status of navigational aids, etc.
• Prepared to assume the duties of the Pilot Flying (PF) in the event of incapacitation of the PF
• Remaining proficient in the use of all aircraft safety equipment and procedures including performing passenger safety briefings
• Providing emergency assistance to passengers and crew when necessary
• Perform any duties as assigned by the Chief Pilot or CEO
• Ensures and confirms airplane readiness for flights considering airworthiness and compliance with all FARs
• Completes the aircraft pre-flight and post-flight inspections including monitoring aircraft fueling
• Assists with loading of passengers and cargo and determines that the weight and balance is within limits per the AFM
• Ensures cargo is properly secured and that provisions for passenger comfort and emergency equipment are on-board
• Operates the aircraft at favorable altitudes and routes considering turbulence, fuel conservation, and passenger comfort
• Ensures the preparation and completion of flight plans and logs, weight and balance data, and duty time tracking
• Reads current trade publications and aircraft manuals, and subscribes to manufacturer mailing lists
• Annually attends CAE or FSI simulator training (complete a 61.58/61.57 check) and completes annual CBT
• Cleans, restocks (drinks, snacks, cleaning supplies, etc.) and organizes the flight deck and cabin and lightly cleans the exterior of the aircraft between flights

• Extensive operational experience in aviation, including knowledge of CRM, SOPs, SMS and FARs
• Have a minimum of 2,000 flight hours including 1,000 hours MEL time and 500 hours jet time
• Required to have at least 2 years of general aviation and/or part 135 experience
• Ability to travel 60-80% of the time
• Proficient computer and tablet skills (EFB/iPad apps, MS Word, Excel, etc.)
• Reliable and punctual (arriving 1-2 hours before scheduled departure time)
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills

• Minimum of associate’s degree, bachelor’s degree preferred

• Airline Transport Pilot AMEL with CL-30 type rating preferred
• Current Passport
• First Class FAA Medical
• Valid driver’s license and reliable automobile

Travel 60-80% of the time. Most flights are to our regional offices on the west coast. We fly to the mid-west and east coast four to six times a year. The average trip is 1-2 nights with an average occupancy of 3.5 passengers. We fly approximately 210 hours a year.
