|Description:||An Aircraft Captain [Pilot-in-Command] is responsible for the safety of passengers and crew and the comfortable, timely operation of the aircraft. This individual supervises the flight crew and ensures that all flight and ground operations comply with all federal, state, local and Company regulations. The Aircraft Captain makes decisions regarding possible delays, rerouting or flight cancellations. This position may perform other general department duties when not flying.
The Captain [Pilot-in-Command] is responsible for the safe conduct of flights to which they are assigned while ensuring compliance with all federal, state, local and foreign regulations, as well as the policies and procedures specified in the Company General Operations Manual. When assigned to a flight, the Captain has the final authority in the operation of the aircraft. Aircraft Captains report directly to the Director of Operations/Chief Pilot.
Bachelor’s degree and/or ten-years military or civilian experience as a professional pilot
FAA Multi-Engine Airline Transport Pilot [ATP] certificate
A minimum of 7,000 total flight hours, with 5,000 hours in business jet aircraft
A minimum of 4,000 hours as Pilot-in-Command [PIC]
Maintain a valid FAA First-Class Medical Certificate
Specific Type-Ratings in the BBD-700 and/or G550 aircraft (preferred)
International flight experience, including Asian and European operations (preferred)
