The Hallmark Corporate Aviation mission is to provide safe, timely and efficient air transportation to key Hallmark officials and customers. The Aviation department is a small, but critical team of experienced professionals who work collaboratively and effectively in a flexible manner to ensure the group meets the broad range of aviation needs for the organization.
IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL:
This full-time position is for a Captain-level pilot of a mid-sized Jet aircraft, which requires 2 self-sufficient and experienced flight crew members. The Captain is responsible for pre-flight, in-flight and post-flight activities required in corporate aviation. This person works closely with the other crew member to ensure all necessary tasks are completed in service to the flight and its passengers – which, in addition to flight planning and management, may include responsibility for handling re-fueling, ground transportation and in-flight catering.
These crew members are responsible for the safe and efficient conduct of flights to which they are assigned; and need to have a level of schedule flexibility, as flight needs may change based on business needs, weather or other unplanned variables. The pilot reports directly to the Chief Pilot/Department Manager. Captains must ensure compliance with all federal, state, local and foreign regulations, as well as the policies and procedures specified in the company operations manual.
Physical demands of the position are working indoors / outdoors in all types of the weather and frequent sitting, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, bending, lifting; must have ability to lift 50-70 pounds routinely with or without reasonable accommodation. The aviation team must reside (or be willing to relocate to reside) within less than an hour's drive time from the corporate aviation home base at the Downtown Kansas City Airport. The following is required to be considered for this role:
ATP pilots license, including English Proficiency Endorsement (EPE)
First Class Medical Certificate
Minimum flight experience of 3500 hours flight time, 2000 PIC, 1000 multi-engine jet
No accidents / incidents, violations DUI/DWI as reported by the FAA
Valid passport and driver's license

Strong collaboration skills and ability to work in a team environment,
Ability to travel on short notice with changing schedules, overnights and weekend travel.
Knowledge of Safety Management Systems (SMS) for corporate aviation.
Resides <1 hour drive from Downtown Kansas City Airport
