Additional Details: I have completed the initial flight attendant training course at Beyond and Above, as well as, will have a certificate from SatCom Direct’s AeroCNCT course later in September 2018. After this training I will be capable of diagnosing and correcting any on-board connectivity issues in regards to internet and satellite phone connections. I won a scholarship from the NBAA for this as a result of an essay I wrote outlining my commitment to safety and how I handled myself instinctively and appropriately when my radio failed on my first solo flight as a private pilot. I landed safely when otherwise I would have put myself over the Everglades and into busy Miami airspace without a radio because of my decisiveness and insistence on additional safety training prior to the flight.
I am capable of ensuring the utmost safety of my passengers, and in addition to this, I have extensive culinary training, serving and catering experience. I am excellent at making instant decisions with integrity, serving others gracefully, and possess immense personal accountability. Working as a Corporate Flight Attendant, I am well aware of the duties and responsibilities involved from the catering, safety of passengers to protecting the security and confidentiality of passengers. I can adapt well to challenging situations, as well as, learn from them.
I would also like to add that the majority of my best friends are retired Corporate Captains for organizations such as, FedEx and Air Traffic Controllers whom I met at the Marathon Florida Keys Airport Air Museum and at EAA events. They have taken me on field trips to Miami ATC Center and on private tours of FBO’s and Hangars. I would rather spend time with them than most. Needless to say, I am highly capable of working well with pilots, and spending time with chefs has enlightened me as to how to deal appropriately with the varied personalities of those in charge and what it takes to make them happy in a supportive way.
